An exhibition of photographs by Lorraine Triolo, entitled “People Who Look Like Art” in collaboration with Overture, San Diego Ballet’s season kickoff event on October 6. Triolo is a Los Angeles based artist who works within a wide range of media. “Often when I’m at art shows I notice that people look like the artworks they are standing near,” explained Triolo. “They can be related by colors, details or patterns – it happens more often than you would imagine and it’s fascinating. The photos in this series were serendipitously captured at museums, galleries, art fairs and openings, and they all took only a minute or so to photograph.”
A First Friday ARTS DISTRICT Event. A program of San Diego Ballet. Funded in part by the Mandell Weiss Charitable Trust and the NTC Foundation. www.sandiegoballet.org
